What - Hors d’oeurves, Mocktails & Desserts
Time to socialize, munch on yummy snacks, fulfill some of your holiday gift giving needs at our silent auction or bookstore and time to pray together.
Please - Bring your favorite Hors d’oeurve, Non-Alcoholic Beverage or Desserts to share with community
Prayer - From 7:00-7:45pm we will gather in the large room to offer prayers for the world. You may want to bring a written prayer with you to share as we join together to pray for all who are in need of prayers (friends, family, countries, leaders, the world......)
Silent Auction - From a Peter Max signed lithograph to an autographed baseball signed by Boston Red Socks Pitcher Josh Beckett, the Fall Fling Auction has been moved to the holiday party. (We thank the generosity of this community for the abundance of fabulous items donated. Many of the donated items will be silent auctioned at the Holiday Gathering. Other items will be either uploaded to an online auction or held for a future auction.)
Support a Cause - Once again, One Spirit has teamed up with Project Find as our holiday giving project. Project Find offers a wide variety of services for New York’s senior population. Our holiday project is to help provide clean clothing for homeless seniors. Project Find has a shower facility on 43rd street where homeless seniors can drop in and get a hot shower and a clean change of clothes. One Spirit is collecting new packaged underwear to be donated to Project Find. Men’s undergarments are especially needed. Please bring unwrapped undergarments to donate to the One Spirit Holiday Open House.
Seva Opportunity - We need volunteers. If you have time to be of service on Dec 9th, please contact Lisa Mollusky at admissions@onespiritinterfaith.org or 212.931.6840 X51 to volunteer for one of the party committees: Set Up, Break Down, Decorating, Food Committees, Auction.
